There are a thousand and one ways to use a MIDI sequence.
To help you integrate it into your software and/or hardware, or into your performance, we offer a conversion service, starting from any MIDI file.
First of all, you need to transfer your MIDI sequence in .mid or .kar format.
As output, we offer you the following options, which can be combined.
They are divided into several categories:
1- Edit (check the track(s) to be edited)
Remove vocals: remove tracks and instruments that interpret the voice (main melody line).
Add chords: add chords in Anglo-Saxon notation (A, B, C...) in the part reserved for lyrics.
Add chords: ditto, but chords are added in the marker section (separating them from the lyrics for greater legibility).
Fade out: if your music ends in a fade out, we edit it entirely to end it "cleanly" and musically, in keeping with the original work.
2- Converting MIDI into MIDI sub-formats
GN MIDI 1: current standard format in which each MIDI channel has its own independent track. Mandatory for Ableton Live! for example.
GN MIDI 0: classic format for older devices (synthesizers, arrangers). All MIDI channels are grouped on a single track.
XG: MIDI format designed specifically for YAMAHA keyboards and hardware.
GS: MIDI format specifically designed for ROLAND keyboards and hardware.
Individual MIDI tracks: one MIDI file per track. Ideal for choosing the instrument(s) of your choice.
Separate MIDI drums: one track per drum instrument. Useful for routing to BAR, for example, which is not "mapped" (bass drum on C1, for example).
3- AUDIO conversion
WAV: conversion of MIDI into AUDIO WAV, using a GM expander/keyboard recorded live.
AIF: conversion from MIDI to AUDIO AIF (mac), using a live GM expander/keyboard.
MP3: conversion of MIDI to high-definition MP3 AUDIO, using a live GM expander/keyboard.
Individual AUDIO tracks: conversion from MIDI to AUDIO, using a live GM expander/keyboard, of each instrument in the MIDI file, and provision of individual files. Add a main AUDIO format of your choice (WAV, AIF, MP3).
4- Conversion to PDF musical scores
Available options: all staves on one file ("driver" version) and/or one score per instrument.
5- Convert to video karaoke
Requires a MIDI karaoke file. HD audio rendering is produced from a material expander recorded live, then assembled with a video in MP4 format, including lyrics.
6- Transposition
If you wish, the file can be transposed to your liking.
Choose a value in semitones.
After payment and a delay of a few minutes to a few days (depending on the options chosen), you will receive by e-mail or delivery service (such as Wetransfer), a compressed ZIP file, containing :
- your original file
- an information file in .inf format (program number, chords, key, lyrics if present, etc.)
- the converted file(s)
IMPORTANT :
- this service supports conversions from MIDI format to the other music formats listed above. For the opposite operation, i.e. converting an AUDIO file to MIDI, please consult this page: https://midifiles.com/fr/conversion-audio-en-seque...
- Please check your request and the validity of your MIDI sequence
